Not a Siege Issue?
Hey guys i Just bought a new Razer Kraken Tournament edition Headset. I was using the Razer Kraken pro 7.2 (or whatever the USB version was_.
I LOVED the pro, perfect sound quality. Im liking the TE too, but it has a really heavy "bassy" or almost a cavelike sound to it. Barricades sound hollow when i hit them, bullets have a real "low" sound to them.
TLDR: Need sound help with Kraken TE settings

I have the Razer Kraken Pro v2 with the 3.5 mm jack. Plugged it in a at2020 usb+ and it is very loud. I think your headphone needs to be connected to a good DAC or just remove the usb dongle if it has it. Restart the game, if it persists then I don't think it's the games fault. If this problem happens in other games than youbgot a faulty headset from razer.

are you using the sound card it comes with? try just plugging it into your computers 3.5mm jack

I didnt try that. My 3.5 MM jack reader has never worked for some reason. Im not a BIG guru when it comes to these things, i just know i have used a USB port headset for the past 10 years +, so ihave no idea why its so bad. It just sounds like somieone is talking to me from one of those cups with a strong attached. and tis not just siege, its Discord and youtube videos and all

maybe try plugging it into a different usb port, if that doesnt work make sure that 7.1 surround sound is turned off
if you have a smartphone or something plug it into there and see if it sounds better, if you have that USB-C to USB-A thingy try using that
if it sounds bad with the USB sound card but good on your 3.5mm jack on your phone the sound card is the culprit
you can buy an amplifier to get around this, you can buy a pretty overkill one if you ever plan to buy better headphones like sennheiser hd 650 or something
