How do you use the SMG-12

I do not use it. People will tell you here that get good but actually recoil on it is just awful.

The best you can do in my opinion, is to just fire in bursts. Even then the recoil kicks in but its easier to manage than going full auto.

Either aim for the head and do very small bursts or just go full auto if the enemy is close enough. I believe it has one of the highest dpses in the game

So you wanted a secondary that would be better then a primary. I remember these times where SMG-11 had acog and it was the pocket sniper at that time

No but he wants less recoil in a secondary gun so that it would be better then their primary, like it was before SMG-11 and SMG-12 were nerfed, so I deducted, why not slip an acog on it and thermal sights on them while we're at it? SMG-11 SMG-12 are only for secondary purpose or if you run out of ammo from your primary, not the other way around. I used to play Vigil BOSG with SMG-12 but don't anymore since it's not reliable, well, technicly you can, but not as easy as before. Smoke SMG-11 and shotgun combo used to be very lethal and effective, and SMG-11 used to have acog aswell and that change was rolledback right after it's been added, and that happened for a very logical reason, same thing happened to Bandit and Jager when they lost their acogs

I think it's better to use a secondary that you can spam the hell out of it like the P9 or P12 or a shotgun secondary that is useful. Machinepistole secondary is kinda hard on long range and can only be used in short range. Like really short range if you can't control the recoil.

use it in close quarter lets say like ambushing enemies in a corner or in a doorway its an instant kill, or aim at stomach/chest level when aim at distant targets (>5m)

I’ve none-stop playtested all the secondary smg’s and ela’s scorpion lately on the tts... and have to say that they’re all usable but ela’s and the bearing-9 ain’t great... the bearing-9 doesn’t need to be though since hibana’s a hard breach + has an insane primary (may aswell be R4C with better recoil and an acog but 20 round mag).... echo also has a top tier defender primary and really good gadget.

Ela’s scorpion i think ubi is trying to balance out before the elite and think they took a step back on the recent patch... but it was usable before it. It had like smg-12 recoil (straight line in some direction but the recoil is very predictable to follow with practice) and now it’s a straight centered line that zig-zags but imo this makes it lose viability at longer ranges.

I dunno if a comment I made on the former recoil pos lead to worser recoil and kinda feel bad :P cuz it was actually a better recoil... I don’t think this new one can be near as good because how the hell do you straighten a zig-zag for longer ranges? (i tried for hours) :P I tried zagging into thunt bots but it eats ammo using that method even if you get the hs.

To use the SMG-12 btw you need to learn to control recoil from all directions, once you done that it’s about reflex with the SMG-12... follow the pattern it’s going with... once you know how to control recoil it’s muscle memory and you should be aiming at the enemy and letting the recoil follow... but don’t expect great results with the SMG-12 at longer ranges... it is just a secondary and just try to go for HS or use the DMR.

Actually, he doesn't want a buff to smg-12 he just want to learn controlling its spray
