Original operator price
Does anyone else remember when the original operators cost a lot more? I vividly remember buying Montagne for 15,000 and getting frustrated when they dropped the price.

At launch each CTU had 4 ops starting at 500. Each purchase within a ctu caused the price of the next op to be 500 more so ops 1, 2, 3, 4 in a ctu would cost 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 renown.

I really remember buying him for 15k and having to save up. When I bought the game I started with 3 ops a side when other people didn't have any.

So would Montagne have been 15k? My brother also bought Blitz for 15k as well.

Every 4th original operator on the starter pack was 12.5k or 15k.

(I have the starter too).

That's just the starter edition. If i'm not mistaken, every base operator always costed 500 and would increase by another 500 if you were to try and buy an operator from the same ctu. Starter on other hand is always at 12.5k. I grinded my soul out for my base operators, but atleast other people won't have to go through the same thing.

Starter pack was 12.5k each
dlcs 25k

now og operators are dirt cheap 500 > 1000 > 1500 > 2000 and dlc prices go down annually

What does that have to do with anything?

It used to be 12,5k renown, enough as half a DLC op with starter edition. Luckily, that it's the past and now the operators cost between 500 to 2000 renown each, you can get them all with between 20-30 hours of playtime (if you do the tutorials and situations it will even make it faster)

Depends of each person and how much you win

There was the standard edition a while ago that included all base ops, so you only needed to unlock the DLC (or you could even buy the bigger editions and spend less time grinding for ops)
