Sound not working properly/ Low sound
So, today I started the game as usual but noticed my sound was way lower than it used to be, i`m still at 100% master volume and my mixer is still at 100% as well, can`t seem to find a solution anywhere

help pls

(started after a windows update, so maybe has to do with it?)

Hmm, you're saying you've already set the volume mixer correctly?

What does you soundpath look like? PC > cable > Speakers/headphones? Or more in the chain?
just the headset connected directly to the pc

Have you tried looking at the Windows sound properties? Rightclick sound icon > Open sound settings > on the right click Sound Control Panel > On the Playback tab find your headset > Properties > Levels > Set output levels to 100.

On the Enhancements tab > disable all sound effects.
On the Advanced tab > Select the 24 bit 48000 Hz option.
On the Spacial tab > Spacial sound format > Off.
did all of that earlier, did I mention it only seems to affect the game?, my sound is normal on youtube, spotify, etc..

Ah ok. That's weird. Just to be sure > rightclick Sound icon > volume mixer > make sure Siege is OK.

Otherwise I don't really know. I'll come back when I have more ideas.

OK i can verify , rolling back the update of 16/09 fixes this sound issue.
@marty windows settings - Update & Security - update history then in red on top u have "uninstall updates" Just know this is a LAST RESORT since windows updates are important don't do it if you are not sure about urself.

I'll add this fix aswell to the ticket i sent to ubi since i still think it's strange it mainly affects treir games , if i wasn't such Ubi fan i wouldn't even have known microsoft screwed up something.

After i rolled back the windows update and everything was fixed i added it to my support ticket to Ubi and i gotten a reply today.
Can you check if you are using windows insider, apparently it is quite common for that to clash a lot with their game since it's basically testing version of the OS and not stable. So get rid of that. (think u can just turn that off somewhere) to be sure it doesn't happen again.
Altho it is quite weird they say i have an windows insider build since when i went to check to turn it off i clearly am not connected to the insider programme .. might have sent a wrong build ? no clue what is going on there lol.
