Rainbow Six Siege - Quick Peek Macro with Logitech Gaming Software
So i want to try and make a quick peek macro like the one described at the start of this video using the logitech mouse software.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5JITGQwweQ&t=105s
However, when i came to do it i found several problems. I found it generally only worked if i was already leaning to one side. Also, if i was not scoped in and i pressed the button, it would peak to the other side before peaking to the side i wanted, like it would if u pressed lean right then lean left slow enough not to quick peak. And finally i would like it to be toggle. For example, if i press it while leaning to one side, it would unlean me from that side. I feel like i have not explained this well but if anyone understands, i was wondering if anyone can come up with a way to fix this if its even possible!

Macros are usually considered cheating in competitive fps games.

I had it as:
Press E
delay of 0.072 seconds
Release E
delay of 0.013 seconds
Press Q
delay of 0.047 seconds
Release Q

This would quick peak to the left but only if i was already leaning to the right. If i was not leaning or not scoped in it would peak to the right before peaking to the left. Also, obviously, it wasn't toggle, so i couldnt press it twice to first lean to the left and then stop leaning to left.

then what exactly are you trying to do with it? (dont feel like watching the video) if its set to hit e then q, its going to peak to the right first, i have 2 setup, one for each side

How come it won't quick peek from centre? If I'm not already leaning to one side it will peak to the right before peeking to the left instead of quick peeking. For example, if im leaning right first and then i press the button to quick peek left it will quick peek but if i am not leaning to start and i press the button to quick peek to the left then it slow peeks to the left by leaning to the right before leaning to the left. And is there a way to have it like toggle, so that when i click it for the first time it quick peeks to the side i want and if i quick it again it goes back to the centre?

if all you are wanting to do is quick peek from center, just add a macro that only presses that key, i.e. if you want to quick peek right(e, delay, e). if you want left(q, delay, Q)

I don't think you understand what im saying... I want to it to quick peek from centre and while im leaning. Currently with:
Press E/Q
delay of 0.072 seconds
Release E/Q
delay of 0.013 seconds
Press Q/E
delay of 0.047 seconds
Release Q/E
if will only quick peek if i was already leaning to one side, not if from centre.

Also, i have lean as toggle, however, with this macro, i cannot unlean from one side.
