Do season passes go on sale?

Just curious, im kinda new to the game and just wanna know if I should wait till the year 3 season pass goes on sale? or do they simply not go on sale?

You're going to have to wait till next year November/December for it to even go for a sale.

Year 3 Season Pass is a New Content DLC and non of the content are even out or develop yet. You expect it to even go on sale.

I wasnt expecting a sale right now, but im patient and would easily wait till like 4 of the characters have already come out or something.

Waiting till end is a waste tho as you are given the extra daily challenge I think a 5% renown boost alpha pack boost and 7 day early access to operators so whats the point? there wasnt any sale for Year Pass but you can buy the 8 ops with r6 credit it was 2k plus credit.

I'm looking to buy this game but got confused a little bit. There are too many DLCs, does any of them have something like new character, new map? or they're all skins?

No need to get salty boys, it was just a question. They would put it on sale? to sell more copies maybe? Like late into its cycle when most of the hardcore auditance would have already gotten it so it would be the smart way to boost profits? Most games dlc goes on sale.

no it doesn't until practically in a year after it comes out. which is the ending of it anyway. and even then it's still like $20+.

-the season pass is the dlc for the yearly operators
-maps are released for everyone
-majority of the skins dont cost real money, but they're cosmetic anyway

Most of the DLC is just skins.
however, a few such as the season pass, and the operator packages offer you expident unlocking of the operators that were released post-launch. I highly recommend buying them if you expect to play siege for a considerable amount of time.

All the DLC is available for free with in-game currency for 25k renown (about a week's worth of game time). Season pass holders get DLC Ops a week before everyone else without having to pay for renown. There are also extra perks for being a pass holder, but nothing like Pay2Win. All maps are free, and none of the DLC Ops are a must have. Some DLC Ops are actually pretty bad (extremely niche) like Ying/Capitao. As long as you play regularly you shouldn't have a problem getting anything in the game.

i know this is an old post but i stumbled upon it. its not about logic, its a matter of demand and supply, people want this, the game is alive, they never put it on sale until the end of the cycle, on the other hand For Honor's season pass always go on sale, even if its still ongoing, cuz simply nobody plays that crap anymore, sad to say though, the game is nice but its just messy.. and people stopped playing it
