Blitz flash is so broken it is beyond repair

I tried to flash a Valk today in the doorway (less than 1 m) and she completly ignored her.

Blitz is beyond repair. Either he's the most frustrating OP to play against and totally ruins the game, or he's totally unplayable and can't do so much as get close enough to flash anyone.

they nerfed the range on the shield to almost nothing. you have to be right in front of them to even have an effect. Blitz basically back to where he was when he was a 3 armor. If his handgun wasn't so good, he'd never be picked ever.

I also play a lot of blitz and certainly he has been less... consistent due lack of a better word, sometimes you flash someone and they perfectly one follow your head and one tap and immediatly reload when blinded, sometimes they obviously lose all sense of direction, sometimes you die getting shot before the flash even activates from the front.

Other than general shield complaints, flashes have always been extremely finnicky for me, from enemies standing still in corridor when candelas pop all around him, then he one taps me perfecrtly so i understand this is not real evidence, but i think the issue is flashes in general

Yes actually (not marine but army militia) but in my free time I play siege and look at steam threads like this. Anyways, I love playing Blitz and don’t see much of a need for a change in his flash distance, if you’re a good Blitz you’ll learn when and where to flash. Also she could’ve been completely blinded or almost completely blinded and got a luck shot on you.

This. Beeing blinded is the opposite of defenseless. Sure you cant see, but else youre not limited in any way, so if you know in which direction blitz is looking/charging you can run towards him and melee him. Sure it wont work all the time, but its a good strat against the average blitz charging towards you.
Else if it was a bug, best thing would be to recreate the scenario in custom games and analyze it
