Mic bans?
Is that a thing? My mic only works 20% of the time in game, never had a problem in any other game other than R6. I haven't been able to use it in a week now. Never had a warning or anything so I'm lost on if it's a bug or a ban I don't know about.

If you have discord it would be easy to check there to see if its working. If its not working in discord, or in another voip program you will know something is physically wrong with your mic. If it works, you will know the issue lies with the game.

If you have discord it would be easy to check there to see if its working. If its not working in discord, or in another voip program you will know something is physically wrong with your mic. If it works, you will know the issue lies with the game.

I know the issue is with the game, but it usually doesn't go an entire week without letting me use the mic. It's ruining my game when I play with randoms, I have to stop and type callouts.

Is the device you are intending to use set as the "Default Communication Device" in Windows?
Also, did you check the Steam mic settings?

Mmmm I’ll try to research the issue a little and see if others have had the same problem. If I find a possible solution I’ll reply back with it.
