How to log out of an old Uplay account from within the game?
When I started Rainbow Six Siege I logged into an old Ubisoft account that I'm not using anymore. Now I want to change to my new Uplay account from within the game, but I can't find where to do it.
Can anyone help? I've already signed into the new account on the Uplay launcher itself.

If the game is already registered to your old account, then you cannot simply transfer it to a new account without buying it again.

So if I bought it on Steam and it logged me in automatically to my old account when I started it I can't log into another account? Alright then. I just got a refund anyway because of this terrible Uplay system.

Well you could have checked whether the game actually is on that particular Uplay account. It's 100% your fault if you logged into your old account. It's not like you can transfer games between Steam accounts either.

I didn't know if the game was going to log me into an existing account automatically or allow me to log in myself. It seems to have done the former.

I had no idea that ownership of the game was tied to accounts outside of Steam.

You probably simply had auto-login enabled. When I launch the game via Steam, it asks for my Uplay credentials.

You can't. You can only unlink your steam and uplay, but can't replace it with one
