How to Use Echo?
I just got the year 1 bundle, and am struggling to use Echo. I am doing ok with the rest, but Echo just seems really difficult to use. Any tips?

there are many different ways to play him, but i prefer sitting somewhere safe close to site and either sending my drone with roamers to give them callouts and help them get kills or cover the site and give callouts. using a mic is essential to playing him.

thx. anything about his guns/loadout?
secondary is bearing 9, always. never use pistol. the primary depends, i usually play him with shotgun to use him like smoke. first weapon for utility, second as kind of the primary.

I recommend you wait with your echo drone when enemies enter and try to benefit your team, therefore meaning stunning them when your teammates are peeking or if the stun will benefit you, don't just waste them as soon as you see an enemy. Echo is really useful on maps such as plane, kanal and any other maps that have tight corridors.

you can use the super nova+ bearing 9 combo, the super nova was buffed in blood orchid and now it's one of the best shotguns

So he wouldn't really roam right? More like stay at obj?

Don't ever roam with him. I mostly stay in the objective and deploy a shield, sometimes for bait other times stay behind it and wait for them to push, its easy frags most of the time. A quick tip, don't roam with 3 armor operators.

No, don't get to far away from object, I would recommend hiding somewhere close but it gives you lots of escape, peek, space, and cover. some of those don't matter because Echo's point is to slow down the people, and tell people about their places.

Also, don't waste all of your echo stuns on 1 person, wait for the perfect timing. Like when a thermite is trying to put down charges, or whenever they're trying to do actions, and they're in an animation state.

He is more of a defender than a roam which to be honest seems weird, but as for tips you should have your drone in or near the objective and you should just wait for the enemy to come to the objective and then possibly stun them and kill them.

Are his stuns as effective as ela's? Or do they just kinda distort the screen for a few seconds? Just tryning to know whether my teamates or me can push after a stun.

they are very effective plus they stop a plant.
Echo works really well when you have defenders actually on the objective, particularly well with out LORD SAVIOR CHANKA. I say this because you can use the drone to see them coming and communicate with your team when and which door they will be coming in through the hallways or such.

They're twice as good as ela's stuns.

Thanks for the tips. Any specific maps where he's really good?
