I believe the only way to really "upgrade" and keep your progress, would be to purchase R6 Credits and buy characters that way. Other than that, I believe you'd have to revoke your key and start over.
Sorry man.
Yea, I had to do a bit of research before i was like nnope nope nope not buying. Forums saved me from buying it.
- interested in all basic operators? change
- only interested in DLC and you already got your basic operators you are going to play? Don't change, get an season pass/the year 1 operator pack.
- Are you going to play multiply hours each day for quite a long time? you could stay starter edition, if you are fine with the grind.
I suggest changing to the "normal" version, or, get an season pass/the year 1 character pass (or both).
Is it really that bad if you lose your progress? I mean how many operators do you have now? The originals are really easy to get in standard. Leveling doesn't do anything. idk how long you played but you shouldn't have a high rank or any cool skins right?
also doesn't a UPLAY account solve this idk
EDIT: NVM IT SEEMS U CAN'T UPGRADE?
