Let's be honest about the renown
So we got the game and whatever edition you got that isn't the question.
However this game has no storyline (which pisses me off because after all this is meant to be a Tom Clancy's game).
With that aside, we play the game and the amount of renown given is a joke when you look at the cost of each operator if you do not spend money to unlock them.
Now, tell me how do you expect me to play this game in a healthy way and get all the operators without spending money?

Please, limitate yourself to construtive comments instead of stupid little internet dead ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jokes that died back in 2004.

Seriously, the question here isn't how much money you have to spend or not in the game but how the renown works, do not even come and say "git gud" or "you know that there is boosters".

First of all, being good has nothing to do with the amount that you get of renown since there is a limit that you can get in a match and also, this is a game and games are meant to have progression.
The renown is just a big joke since you can never get more than 260 per game and you need to win the game while your team is all at level 10 and the other team generally has people at level 80 or above.
How is this meant to be any fun?
I have 22k renown and the game just started to feel like I'm being tortured instead of something fun.

for starter edition the renow prices are really ridicilious for normal edition they are decent form 500 renow up to 2000 renown with the dlc/season pass operators it makes sense they cost a lot of renow to be bougth also about the story line agreed it is really not big story there is minor storyline in the "situations mission " but it is not a full fledged singleplayer story

Yea, but that's not what we have now. I think this game has broken the sales records of all previous R6 games combined at this point.

If we got 200 minimum, it would take only 5 games to unlock a 1,000 renown op. Thats it?
While i feel that would be fair for the DLC operators like Mira, Jackal, Ela, etc, its too much for the majority of the operators which are non-dlc. Ubisoft needs some incentive to pay for the DLC; at least they give you the option to work for it to get it free. Plus, when you have your eyes set on a certain op, doesnt the grind feel more fun, especially when you finally get that op you wanted so badly?

I'm used to REAL Tom Clancy's games and this game does have in part TC identity but the no storyline is a joke.

You get 1 challenge per day and another 6 per week by pressing Shift F2. Renown is fine. Just 2500 ish per week from challenges alone.
I do the challenges but I don't really feel like that should be the way to get extra renown.
That should be a bonus from playing the game and not a think that players like me look for to help them unlock something.

I totally get your point but I paid for the starter edition plus the year one season pass bundle.
Why?
Because at the time I only had money for the starter edition, I actually got two copies of it for me and someone else.
Later I had some more money and got the year one bundle and decided to grind for the year two operators, however getting 96 renown for a match that takes at least 15 minutes is not a good way to unlock operators that cost 25k.

Why do I want to have all the operators?
I like completed stuff,when I play a game I want the full content just like I have the division and its season pass.
However this game will have more than 10 season passes and I will not pay 30 or more euros or pounds every year for a new season pass.
In this game the operators are the content and that is the issue.
I would be fine if an operator would cost about 15K or 10K but not 25k that is way too much considering that on average I get less than 150 renown per match.

If you make less than 100 renown for a 15 min match, that means that you're doing something wrong, and have a terrible score and always lose.

you should play for fun and (try to ) enjoy the operator you are playing with at the moment, the renown will come "quickly" enough

The original r6 game, r6 3 raven shield, the r6 rogue spear they were great titles unique on the market aside of the arms franchise and the metal gear solid franchise. This game just got popular because is more competitive game than the old games on the franchise and got more arcadeish core mechanics (for example metal walls from our pockets, and goofy characterization compared to the old games in the franchise). Personally I tag this game as : "arcade competitive tacticool fps".

I get 150 renown like every loss and 270+ every win and I have starter edition i like the grind gives me time to learn the ops I bought before i rush to get a new one. The renown is fine if you want 1k an hour just do TH 100+ every completion and with a group you can finish each one in less than 5 mins.
