Why Jager elite skin has a modern german flag on his soldier instead of german empire?

So that's why his weapon skins are red? No wonder I didn't like his elite skin (seriously, I think red ruins the weapons for his elite skin). I was expecting wooden grips, stocks, and handguards, similar to other's elite skins.

Yeah at least they are but as you mentioned i would prefer the wooden stock on his guns more than anything, but i mean the flag on his shoulder should have been german reich flag really

Agreed, they should represent the Reichskriegsflagge patch, the imperial war flag, used until 1945.

Problem is, that's too much of a propagenda to people who take the game out of context into a political matter.

Well, the thing i dont understant is this elite uniform is based on a red baron pilot who fought in ww1, if he was a pilot from ww2 i would understant ubisoft not wanting to put a swastika on his chest, but i really dont see any reason why not to put a german reich flag on a shoulder.

So he is a modern soldier but he is wearing a ww1 uniform? So why chienese soldiers are not wearing some armoured clothings like they wore back in the day?

Well he certainly doesn't get an older weapon or gear. An outfit is not the same as time travel.

Dude, the entire purpouse of elite skins are representnig a older uniform of their country, and im pretty sure back in ww1 the german flag wasnt same as the modern one.

Kapkan Vympel Elite Skin has the hammer & sickle Soviet Union symbol, so I don't understand why the Reich Flag is considered a no-no.
