which weapon should I use as thatcher?

L85a2 There is no reason to take the AR. L85A2 has more ammo, better recoil, deals more damage.

The L85 is better on paper, but for some reason I always do better with the AR33. At the end of the day, it's down to your personal preference. Whatever you find easiest (but the L85 is better for most people)

AR is probably one of the smoothest rifles in the game. That and jackal's gun

If you hate high recoil and want to make a bet on headshots then AR, if not then L85. L85 hits harder and down people faster. Also, its more reliable if defenders have rook armor. (+1 or no extra shots to kill 3 speed ops)

L85A2, all the way! great weapon, it doesnt have that much recoil, you just have to learn to not hold the shoot button but tap it, easy tap tap headshots.
