Report a translation problem
1. when you use 1x sights, it will give you some placebo effect that makes every recoil looks like have lower recoil, thus giving you good recoil control
2. using 1x sights such as reflex, gives you massive field of view area instead of acog that gives you 2,5x zoom but restrict your field of view. so you know what's happening outside of your aim instead having tight field of view by using acog, thus gives you advantages against acog users
(I don't like holos though, it blocks so many area of your screen)
As you also mentioned, not all weapons can equip an ACOG, yet the Holo or Reflex fit to most guns. Having the same equipped across multiple operators (attack and defense alike) adds some consistency when managing recoil and handeling the guns. I think consistency is something really important at high level play.
And why's that? Only time that is an issue is at ultra long range without any knowledge of where the enemy is. But you don't really have time to stand around and use your weapon like a pair of binoculars.
