found reason why they removed temporal filtering
they needed to make sure more people would get that cinematic 24 fps
144hz is for pros only

All you need is a 1070 or 1080 to get 144hz ultra without temporal filtering. The temporal setting is for people with potatoes, so it forces people to upgrade I guess?

We now have TAA right? I have a GTX 1080 and I use the setting most to the left. On ultra settings ofcourse.

TAA is temporal filtering now.

If you want the old temporal I think you can get it by tweaking the ini.

I have a 660 ti with 90-120 frames, no one is getting forced to upgrade.

Pretty good. I have around 200 fps on a 1080 but mine is 6 years newer and twice as expensive.

I know what temporal filtering does.
I play at 4k resolution but have temporal filtering enabled to get +60FPS, because without it I only get around 40.
