Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

I always keep dying
I understand that im new and just started playing and that there's a learning curb, but seriously, how the hell do I stop dying so damn much. it's just rediculous. And I cannot get enough experience or understand what the hell is going on when i keep dying. So how am i suppose to learn from any of this?

I'm in the same boat lol. In casual multiplayer, it's like I am fighting against professional level players.

If you have people on your team who talk, ask questions. Generally people are willing to help you if you ask and actually listen, contrary to the new people who don't ask questions and say "♥♥♥♥ off" or some other choice comment when advice is offered.

Some simple starting advice.

1. Don't run out of spawn immediately, aim down sight every time and check windows/doors facing your spawn. If you see a broke window/door chances are someone is going to peek from it.

2. Don't forget to use your gadgets.

3. Take some time to learn what each operator does specifically that helps the team.

4. Don't rush unless you know how, and are confident in your aim.

5. SAVE YOUR DRONES. This is going to be especially relavent in the next patch, since you can have multiple at once.

1. I dont have a mic and it takes time to reload.

2. I never run out. In fact i actually take my time and try to get used to the game. Still never works out.

3. trying to use gadgets is rediculously too complicated. Usually when I'm using a drone, I have no idea what im suppose to do and while im trying to learn it, an enemy usually finds me and kills me.

4. I even try using the most basic operators and i still dont learn anything.

If you want to add me on steam, go ahead, I have fun teaching newbies how to play. It does matter too much where you are, since the point is to help.

Some simple starting operators are Rook, literally drop armor at the start of the round and you've done your job.

For offense, that's a bit more difficult, but Glaz is as straight forward as it gets.

And always accompany your teamates when attacking

I'd definitely recommend using a headset with a mic. Communication and good awareness of sounds is crucial. The game has, for the most part, excellent sound, and the best players know how to listen closely to everything that is happening around and get a good picture of where all the enemies are without needing to see them.

Take the blows and stand still.
This game is about map knowledge, if you want to get better, don't focus on aim or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you do. The first thing to know is all maps, so : camera spots, spawnpeek spot (either to challenge them or to avoid them), objectives location, wallbangable spots (like in Consulate where you can destroy the ceiling with an IG and have a direct line right on the main entrance).
You're kinda lucky that only 9 (or 10 if Theme Park is taken) maps are going to be on the ranked pool this season, so you can focus on those 9/10.
Afterwards, to train aim : classic terrorist hunt and experience.
To be honest, almost all the things you'll learn about the game is thanks to experience. You can't be good from the beginning, you have to learn. This game, you learn the hard way (shots from drone holes, shots in your feet from a window angle, plane windows against a glaz...). A lot of things can't be understand properly if you didn't experience it.
Good luck.

1. That answer has nothing to do with it. Reload? At the very start, the first few seconds, of a round? And you don't need a mic to shoot someone who tries to spawnpeek.

2. What?

3. Yes, using a reinforcement destrying charge is complicated. Yes, using a scope is complicated. Yes, hitting walls with a hammer is comlicated. I can go on with this for most of the operators.

4. So you don;t learn how to smack walls? Or put a thing in a wall to make man go boom?
