High Cost for Characters
Everyone of my friends says it costs him 1500 or something for a new character but for me its 12500 or 25000. why is that?

Dude ill put it in short. Startet edition lets you play the game for the cheaper price. But you will need to buy new operators for a higher price. Plus you get free 2 operators and r6 points to buy 1 or 2 more anyways. While full game everthing is normal Operators cost less and you dont get 2 operators in the beginning. Everbody here is acting like 8 year old kids. If you dont understand this and if you can refund R6S and never play it again.

You just joined the 8 years old then, hehe ;)

Your worthless research helped you as much as your grammar does.

Well this was an entertaining read. I have nothing else to contribute.

I see what you are trying to say.. but if you read the link that is on the store page ON the "Starter Edition" you would have gotten a page that say:

- Slower unlocking of the remaining 16 Original Operators (GIGN, SAS, GSG9, SPETSNAZ, FBI):
12,500 Renown or 300 R6 Credits to unlock 1 Operator
Approx. 15 hours to unlock 1 operator using in-game Renown

And also this:

How can I unlock the operators faster when playing the Starter Edition?
- Play the Daily and Weekly Challenges to unlock extra Renown
- Purchase Renown Boosters.
- Wait for the weekly Operators discounts (Renown and R6 Credits).
- Purchase the £28.99/35€ R6 Credits pack to unlock all the 16 original Operators (attacker and defender bundle).

So this is on you and you only... you didn't read what they told you to read before buying :P
wait what? there are weekly discounts? like ever?

I see you never bothered to read the description of the starter edition. They stated very clearly that you pay less initial cost BUT all original operators WILL cost 11250. In the original release of the starter edition they even state down the estimated time for unlocking a single operator comparing between normal and starter edition.

The 25000 operators are year 1/2 operators, and its the same for everyone, so you cant complain about that.

Stop acting so entitled and do your research. If you even glanced at the store page you would see that there are 2 different versions of the game. The regular full version and the starter. It wouldn't make any sense for you (having the starter edition) to have all the same perks and advantages as somebody who payed double the amount of money for the game on the regular edition.
what i want to say is: they shouldnt have all the perks and advantages because they paid more! i dont care that most big games do it these days(sadly). i think its just wrong that i pay for a game and have to spend TEN times more. TEN!!! thats ridiculous

They didn't pay "more" so much as they paid the normal price of a triple-A title. The game cannot be supported with Starter Edition prices. The Starter was released later as a low-cost, high-grind alternative to satisfy those customers who have no extra cash but lots of extra time to spend on grinding.
Your logic is wrong because you're using the Starter Edition as a "standard" while it is Standard Edition that should be seen as a standard. If you realized this, you'd notice that those who paid a very normal price for the game got all the content they should have been entitled to. You went for the irregular, cheap alternative.

An AAA title that costs $60 that you bought knowing well what you would get for $15. Maybe read things later.

This man is saying that the devs should remove the starter edition because it gave him a disadvantage because he didn't read.

2: its not cheaping out. its püaying the minimum. cheaping out would be pirating or g2a or something.
3: i paid 15 too in the sale for the normal edition so yeah. nice to know. i researched. and the glrious internet told me that this version just doesnt have automatically unlocked characters and no difference else.
4: the "truth" as you call it is unfairness in a competitive oriented game? ok nice
this comment bugs me, nothing in this game is locked behind a paywall, every operator is available to purchase in normal edition i still have to grind for my operators from the yr1 and yr2 they are 25000 renown aswell the only difference our games have is your original 20 operators cost 12500 while mine cost 500->1000->1500->2000 for each CTU this is the only difference. If you failed to read the faq your fault, and yes starter edition is cheaping out but I will throw a point to you, they need to make it more obvious and or move it to a seperate page on steam.

i dont have ANY season pass, i still has every op unlocked in the game exceot caveira and hibana, and ive almost spent 50 000k on alpha packa by this point, ive only bought 1 guy for cash, that was mira.

also if a game has a demo thats free and you can acces things ex. multplayer but items are limited from that demo it doesnt make the game pay to win.
example of ur logic

Starter edition is a trick to get you pay twice causing you to almost pay release price of the game

Trick? I'm glad I bought the starter, It forced me to spend more time with the ops I had unlocked and I'm a better player for it.

still forces yo uto have a more limited "squad" of ops, yo ucant take every role if your team needs one specific, sure it forcews you to spend more time but you could had chosen that with the standard edition, and have a second main if someone takes those or your team needs it
