Ulta texture pack includes it self in the download
I wanna install this game on my ssd. I installed it on my hdd, it was 36 gb or something. now when I try to install it on my ssd, its 80+. It installs the hd texture pack with it for some stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason and I cant seem to find a way for it not to install it as well. I have enough disc space on my ssd for the game it self, but not the other 50 with the texture pack

try to move steam to your ssd but all the games on your hdd
i have steam on both ssd and hdd. hdd for huge games, and ssd for smaller games or games that take for ever to load.

I suggest you remove the hdd and replace it with a sdd, cause your hdd makes your ssd slower. thats why I only have ssd. ssd+hdd=♥♥♥♥. ssd+ssd=fast af.
That's pretty much nonsense if you set up your PC right, but ok.
SSD will actually make your games faster, so I recommend that you install all your games and windows on the SSD, and everything else on the HDD.

And yeah that doesn't make much sense at all.

ok, sense the hdd has slower uploading than the ssd the hdd will slow down the ssd. For the ssd to work as good as possible you need to only have ssd. When you have ssd and hdd they will work togheter right? So then the hdd slows down the ssd. There are no proofs that it does or doesnt but this semes logical.
It doesn't slow down,it's just not using the full potential of SSD
If the program decide to run at SSD it RUNS at SSD,the only time where both SSD and HDD are using is when you transfer files between them
ps:I hope you're a troll cuz I typed so much things here lol

Tom's isn't the "be all end all" source of info you know. If you do the work yourself you'll find that if you manage your file directories properly, you get the best of both worlds, high load speeds of a SSD on stuff that matters, and the space of a slower 5 TB HDD, usually for random crap, like videos, pictures, ect.

P.S. Basically all that link said is "don't put the OS on the HDD, dummy".

go to the support page from rainbow six in your library, then select the ultra HD DLC, and remove from inventory.
Seems like someone has been deleting some comments... Hard to make any sense of this now :D

Right-Click on Siege in your Steam Library. Click "Properties," then "DLC," and uncheck the Ultra HD pack. This will uninstall the HD pack, and keep it uninstalled the next time you try to install the main game.

I will try this, thank you. I was able to cancel it downloading the hd texture pack while it was downloading, not before it started downloading.
