Slow load after choosing operator
Everytime i get into a game and choose an operator it takes me a while to load in but ive heard people say i have a potato when i have a pretty good pc. I just wanna know whats the problem because ive had people say i should get an ssd etc. :steamsad:

I had loooong loading times when the game got released, and after an update i had instant loading, that keept going for 3 monthes and agian loooong loading and a lot times i got kicked, googled 4 a solution but found nothing... reinstalled helped me, instant loading agian. but i also have the game on an ssd and fast internet... :ops::UltimateChicken::2016watermelon:

i also have pretty good internet but not an ssd. so do you recommend re-installing maybe?

This is normally because you have your Texture Quality settings set quite high. The higher quality your Textures are the bigger the file size is and the longer it can potentially take to load them all into RAM. Try setting them to Low.

i've tried putting everything on low already and still had the problem...... im new to Rainbow six and im in love with it but its just this problem that is bugging me

if you've tried lowering your settings and all that stuff and still have trouble loading after you pick your operator, then 99% of the time the solution is to get an SSD.

i've tried to look into it and the only solution that was guaranteed to work asap was an SSD. I had to buy a fkn SSD for this game even though i've been meaning to get one.

then people are like "but i have a hdd and mine loads fine". like i said. i dont know what causes it, cause i have a 7200rpm still good harddrive and it was giving that issue. so I said fk it. and got an ssd.

could be your HDD, i had old one like 10years old, it took a long time to load.. i buyed SSD and it's like instant load
