alright, looks like im going to have to wade my way to level 20. I really want to like this game, but this matchmaking is a complete turnoff.
Tons of multiplayer games still have matchmaking that is noob friendly. If you go and play league of legends as a new player (despite the game being nearly a decade old) you will play against other new players (and smurfs). This game just feeds you to the dogs until you painfully crawl your way to level 20 and play your 10 ranked games. I finished them today and got Silver 2, and for the first time in the almost 30 hours ive played i feel like im competetive member of the team and not a dead weight being dragged along.
My point is: why does this game actually not have a skill based matchmaker up until that point? I could see many other people just giving up and leaving before then.
On the bright side ur first rank is silver 2 which is high level silver, most people end up in bronze or copper,so tht shows u improved a lot in the time u spent doing the placements
compared to most people
