Why can't i add friends

Uplay won't let me add any friends, tried through overlay, tried through the program itself, tried importing steam friends and nothing worked. It wont work for my friend either. Uplay is literally the worst program ever invented. Why do game companies try to shove some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of software down your throat when you can use steam, WHICH ACTUALLY WORKS?

that happend to me,what i do is a add someone they Accept and then i have to Reststart my pc and then it showes me that i am Frinds with this person sorry for bad Engilsh

You dont have to restart your pc.

All you need to do is exit siege and exit uplay. Then go back into it.
I dont think it's a siege issue as much as just a uplay issue. I dont think siege can do anything until the uplay app is fixed

You have to restart UPlay. I wish it all worked through Steam, UPlay is garbage.
