100% Fix for Long Loading Times.
I played this game almost 300 hours on Uplay and i was the only one with loading times longer than 30 seconds...

yesterday i played a bit with the files and found a solution for this problem.

EVERY Folder from Ubisoft included gamefiles and Uplay itself must be in the same big Folder on the same HDD.

If you have Uplay on C: And RB6 on your Harddrive for Games you will see long loading times in Rainbow Six and For Honor.

I Copy&Paste the Whole Ubisoft Folder and put it on my Games Harddrive after that you have to transfer all games and software from ubisoft in this folder and delete every folder on your system with Ubisoft/Uplay or Ubisoft Games on every HDD (excluded the new one with all in it for sure)

After you've done this you will have no loading times even on Ultra Settings.

Sorry for my bad English.

2018:
This fix seems to work only with the Uplay version and the steam version.

at least since a few weeks.

I am also facing the same issue too but I had tried but nothing has improved for me.

then you made something wrong.

Everything from Ubisoft has to be on the same Drive.

when you install everything in one single folder it will works perfectly even on an old laptop..

every single data of Ubisoft has to be in the same folder to minimize the loading times from 30-40 seconds after selecting the operator to exactly instant.

you don't need an SSD to load the game normally.

the engine is in the RAM

the map data is around 2.5GB which takes around 17 Seconds to load from my normal HDD

but the game loads the map before you are chose an operator it begins while entering a match.

if your Map Data is on another HDD it has to transfer it into the Uplay folder for Direct X Runtimes. this will cause around 300-500% longer loading times.

So, I bought the game and have the same problem. Let me see if I get it: I have 1 HDD with 2 partitions. Steam is installed on C: and the folder of games on D:. Siege is on D: and i believe UPlay is on C:. The way would be copy the uplay from C: to D: and open the folder from steam and copy siege and paste properly on the Uplay folder? It will work? Thanks!

Based on к̧͙̠ͦу̛̳̼̱̭̻̍͒̍̎ͅя̭̼͓͇̮͛͑̂͠υ̒ͪf̙ comment, I have created a new partition from the disk management and added a new steam library to install TC:R6S. I also installed the Uplay application on the same partition to run the game and amazingly, the load time works and it loads instantly!

The purpose of creating a new partition and installing the game in there is to make the hard disk to focus on running the game alone without any other files, folders, etc to interfere with the loading of the game.

I would say give it a try and it should work just as fine.
