Is the community toxic ?
I only play casual for now to learn the maps and get better, but most of the time I have encountered many toxic players who are either angry and want to kick me that I picked their operator, Ash for example or just type ♥♥♥♥ in the chat like strong insults. I'm a good non-toxic player and I'm not picking fights with my teammates over a mistake they made, but still I get matched with idiots who will tell you that you suck or try to insult in you the most common way which is the dead mom jokes at the end of the match. A teammate once shot me by mistake and I said to be careful next time. I heard that this game has a good not so toxic community, but I guess I'm wrong ?

I noticed a lot in Casual that people were a lot more dickish. Playing Silver-Copper tier Ranked seems to turn out some much better classes of players.

I feel ya man and from what I can tell so far unfortunalty the community is toxic. They will try in kick you if you cant clentch a 1vs5, you take the hastage, you plant the bomb, they jump infront of your aim etc etc. I tell ya what though if your interested in playing with some people who are also new to the game but good people looking for teamwork come join our TS if your 18+ : voice.deathdealerssquad.com. Can't be toxic if all 5 players are your friends!

Lol but luckily I had 2 more matches with different fun people who were chill so at least the WHOLE siege community ain't up their asses ^_^

The community being a toxic wasteland is why Siege is REALLY hard to convince others I know to buy it. Friendly-fire is somewhat a common thing I see, even in ranked (which, compared to casual, is friendlier). It is a shame that Ubisoft seems to be ignoring this problem, as they could coax more sales by addressing it. Perhaps with an in-game harrassment report button (as if in-game could hopefully track things like friendly-fire and chat).

i think its getting worse by the day, i almost uninstalled the game because people are just getting annoying now.

I'm not sure if it is getting worse by the day. There was a spree where I kept hitting obnoxious matches probably about a month or two ago. Then about a week where it was beautiful and peaceful. Now it's 75% fine and 25% like punching a primed bear trap.
