No cd key or activation code sent with RS6?

I've bought rs6 this past Sunday with the winter sale and all, but am unable to launch it or play it, as whenever I open it, it continually asks me for a CD key. I have no idea how to get this. I have already right clicked on the file to try and find the CD key but to no avail, so right now I have rs6 uninstalled and possibly queued for a refund. Is there a way to find the CD key? (It was also not found in my email spam or trash.)

right click rainbow six siege in your steam library and it should say "View CD key" or something similar.. also keep in mind you need Uplay as well to play this game.. something a lot of people don't realize at first.

I have tried after seeing similar problems, but whenever i do I see nothing of the sort

are you right clicking the game icon or the game in steam library? just make sure your doing this in steam library as the icon on your desktop won't help you with this at all.. other than that i would probably contact ubisoft support or send in a steam support ticket and they should be able to help you resolve this.. if you don't want to go through all of that, request a refund.

Yep. I have no idea. I sent the ticket a bit ago and now am trying to uinstall uplay to see if that helps. Other than that, i'll just refund it before next Sunday. If anyone has any other insights, plz comment.

you need uplay to even play the game.. that probably won't help.. but good luck.

while watching it on steam, does it say rainbow six full game unlock or so,mething liek that on dlc?

Link your Uplay and Steam accounts then launch the game.

Login your uplay, go to settings and link steam account with uplay then launch the game from Steam. Should work

I've finished reinstalling it, and now this time it doesnt ask for a product key. Great! ty guys for the halp.
