A few questions by a newbie.

So I bought the starter edittion of the game a few days ago, well weeks and started playing.

I've reached level 54 in 72 hours. After my 10 games which I play with friends we all got ranked silver 1 to silver 3. I got ranked Silver 1 and play one solo game and got to Gold 4. Then I kept playing solo but all that happened was a losing streak to Copper III. Now I am strugling to get back up to even silver since I am around Bronze III and II.

So my questions are:
Do ranks reset in this game?
If so when or every how many months?
If so does my old rank have an impact to the new season?
Can I reset the rank myself?

Do ranks reset in this game? Yes, after a new season started when DLC Ops are released.
If so when or every how many months? Depends ^

Same happened to me,the ranking system is straight horrible in this game,it does not take your personal skill into counting,only your team's.So basicly if you are in a good team the first 10 matches you get a higher rank and once you start playing against people who struggled their way to that rank you will realise how much better they are...so you are just going to lose,lose and lose over and over again until you hit somewhere around the bottom from which you gonna start working your way up.At least thats how it was for me.

Ranks reset every 3 months.
Only thing your rank effect is getting a charm based on your rank type (Bronze = Bronze Charm) and you probably won't use these charms anyway.
You can't reset them yourself.

Don't play rank. You really don't get anything from it and it resets every 3 months making it almost useless. Not to mention all the try hards and some hackers and ping abusers that live there. Just my thought anyway

Ive been playing Six Siege since Y1 S2 Dust Line and this is the worst season for ranked I have ever seen. I would just get to a decent rank and stick to casual until they fix it. Should be sometime in May when Y2 S2 drops.
