In-game Friend request

hi guys, Whenever i try to send friend requests in-game it's just not working i can't see it in pending requests nor the person i send it to never receive anything. Only way to add someone is by minimizing the game and doing it at Uplay client. Is this a known bug ?

It doesn't work, neither do squad invites but I have heard the devs talk about fixing these issues.

well it does work, but not always
I have to restart Uplay if I want to join a friend's lobby 99% of the times

I understand you man but i'm talking about adding new friends in-game with the "send friend request" button in the game menu not adding/joining friends lobby :D

"send friend request" button just do nothing in the game :'(
always need to minimize the game - > open Uplay - > Search for the player you want to add.

well I used that feature like 2 times, it didn't work
but when I added the same people through Uplay, it instantly worked. The problem is that you have to type in their name 100% correctly, which is not always an easy thing to do, and impossible if someone has a tricky name and they already left the team.
minor issue, but it would be nice if it was fixed...

Yeah i hope they will fix it sometime, it used to work in the past.
