When someone talks it plays through my monitor speakers?
Can anyone help with this, whenever someone talks in voice chat, it plays through my monitor speakers, not my headphones

Hi! I've also faced a trouble when voice chat audio goes from monitor only, while all other sound came to headset. Even deleting monitor as audio device didn't help as voice chat sound just dissapeared at all.
Good news, I've got a fix:
If you hear voice chat from your monitor or doesn't hear at all - try this:
1. In the window which opens up, go to the Playback tab, right-click it on audio device, and select Properties.
2. In the Properties window, click on the Advanced tab. Locate ‘Allow application to take exclusive control of this device’ and uncheck it. Do it with every audio device.
3. Click Apply, then OK.

Only for this game?

Otherwise right click on the headphones in playback devices and choose it as default communication device. But I'm pretty sure you already know this.

Only in this game. It's weird because the sound of the actual game comes through the headphones, but the voice chat goes through the monitor speakers.

I would disable the speaker in "playback devices" and see if that can force the voice chat to your headphones.

Make sure your monitor is not your default communication tool. Playback---> set headset as default device.

I had this. Go to your sound settings and reset your headset as the default device. If it already is, select something else, then your headset again. that fixed it for me
