Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege starts very slowly...
It takes about a minute or two for the uPlay window that says "starting" to even show. Like when you start a Call of Duty game it has a small rectangle that shows briefly and runs the game. This is happening to me for Rainbow Six but takes too long for it to show. Anyone know a fix?

you could try shutdown wallpaper engine and run a clean restarting game, cause my afterburner rivatuner overlay slowdown my siege starts time, but it works fine with other game.

well if thats the case then i rather not shutdown a program i like to have running for the sole purpose of the game. if only Ubisoft actually cared about making a good port let alone a good game.

It honestly sounds like your PC is a toaster if you've got a "box" that pops up whenever you run a game. My old XP used to do that, but the hardware was ♥♥♥♥.

Mine takes a while to load as well. Intel 7500 Radeon 480 rx

It's probably the connection to the servers.

Still sounds like a hardware issue, most likely related to the Hard Drive, or possibly the RAM. Or, if you overload the processor stuff will load slow. I don't know anymore since i've got 6 cores.

I use Wallpaper Engine as well and it's fine for me so it must be on your end, try verify intergrity of game files, reinstall the game or completely wipe your drivers and reinstall. Your computer specs are fine though about the same as mine except for the cpu which might be the cause but I highly doubt it.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 and rx 6700xt, even so it starts the game slowly. I think the solution is not to change the components
