cant play .. uplay asks for an activation code

when i launch the game through steam uplay pops up asking for an activation code , which i dont have or dont know how to get ..
played the game on the free weekend only

Check the side when looking at the game screen (the one showing how many friends have the game, the number of hours played and whatnot). There should be something like CD-KEY. Your key is there.

then i would say have some patience and try later again and contact ubisoft support.

THis issue is known since the begining but well. Ubisoft primary care for Moneystuff same goes for Steam.

the issue started 2 days ago
i sent ubisoft 2 emails since yesterday ... no replies
tried everything one google
actually this is my second post on steam fourms .. but i thought maybe i get lucky this time lol

where .. you mean under LINKS ?
its not there .. its there for GTA v but not for rainbow .. funny huh

go into uplay under setting...link your steam account to uplay...that should fix it.

close out of uplay and steam...launch steam and then rainbow from steam. it should just load, well mine does for 1900 hrs now...lol

done that .. didn't work .. ubisoft must love their games

reinstall ubisoft. it worked for me with the cd key.
