Is Valkyrie worth it?

She seems to have powerful guns. Is her shotgun any good? Also, does placing cameras require some extra map knowledge? Or should I just get an operator that is easier to use?

Valkyrie is a fantastic op, her cameras dont need map placement but it does help and yes her shottie is great (MPX is better imo)

One of the lowest damage on smg class, but still decent recoil to handle.

Yes she is a must pick. She might not be the flashiest operator, but overall she is very useful, as her cameras provide good intel and her loadout is quite balanced (the smg is great, deagle is good but small magazine and c4 is a nice bonus) there is simply no reason not to pick her.

Yeah, she's pretty awesome. I quickly learned the places where the enemies aren't paying attention to and her cams come in handy... much better than those randomly places cams you get that are usually on the other side of the map anyways.

She is always a great choice.

The MPX is imo one of the best mps in the game and the shotgun is also very good.
You can place the cams normal or have fancy spots that make them round winning. Map knowledge helps a lot with placement.

I personally play as her for her gadget, so that way if I die early (which I usually do) I can still contribute to the team in some way.
