Can I bring my K/D up?
My K/D ratio is .82 with 202 kills and 245 deaths. That seems like such a huge gap to cross into positive K/D, and I don't know if I'll ever make it. My friend won't ever say I'm at least decent ingame unless I get a positive K/D. :(

k\d is not the most important thing in this game. there're many pros with <1 k\d, cuz they play supportive roles or drone for their team

I don't think theres pro's under 1 k/d lol. but yes you can totally bring up your k/d. make sure you're very comfortable with your sensitivity and practice in t-hunt, not to beat it but to quick aim and headshot them to make sure your accuracy is nice

Working on your aim in Thunt is good. If you have 60 hours in game, <60 is in multiplayer matches, and then that time is split up between your prep phase time, and then your waiting and watching cameras time, what im getting at is that the amount of time spend in gun fights is going to be pretty low. Lone Wolf Thunt will be a good way to grind out hours with the guns.

IMO the more important part of a KD is to have low Ds. It not only helps the math of the ratio but it also results in you having more time alive while playing, so more time to earn Ks. You can work on this by doing a few simple things. If you arent already these are things to work on.

Kill the Defenders cameras or they will use them against you. I see a lot of people just enter a room, check the corners, and start to move on without clearing the camera.

Early in the match, while your team is still getting a foothhold in the building, defenders could be anywhere in the building. So at that point drone each room before you enter it to stay alive, and maybe get information to use to get kills. As the round progresses you should start to get a picture in your mind of where the alive defenders are. Even then a quick drone before a push can save your life.

If youre going to break a window/door barricade dont stand in front of it. Stand off to the side and hit it while moving to the side to get your body back behind cover. You may just see bullets rip through the wood where you would have been standing. This just saved your life and gave you information to use to counter.

When peeking around corners pop your head out and back in as little time as possible. If you can strafe+lean left out of cover, spot a traget, get a bead on then, tap tap, and then strafe+lean back the way you came from, then you may get a kill and dodge the teammate returning fire. Or you may not see anybody but still dodge their counter fire. Or you may miss your shots and be a chump but still be a living chump. You can do this peek with just strafe, but if you can manage a strafe+lean you expose yourself less and move your head out and back faster than without the lean. The faster your peekabo peeks are the deadlier and safer you will be.

KD doesnt matter. I have 1.4 kd and i know bunch of people who have lower KD but better than me. Just play the game, practice and dont think about such things like kd or wl.

When I first started I had a KD around yours and by actually giving a ♥♥♥♥ and trying I brought it up to 1.52

you have to play more hours to improve your learning curve and know about the game mechanics, also map knowledge is very important in r6. you will get your sweet spot someday, but it wont get longer because this game will release new operatos, new maps, and updated the balance so it will give you more time to adapt to your sweet spot again.

I had my sweetspot with precision headshot and good map awareness, but after vacuum (not play r6) couple weeks and update patch my gameplay is not good as before, my kd is getting lower and shooting with terrible aim.

play regularly and consistent, use same operator to know which one is suit for you.
Goodluck!

KD isn't really all there is to it. My kd is about the same as that of Serenity17, Macie_Jay & Remorce (I think they all have 1.6-1.7 KD), but I'm MUCH worse than they are; they face much tougher opposition every time they play.
