As a lover of MW2019, this sequel felt different, better in some ways and worst in others.

Now, I have no idea why I see so many negative reviews, cuz by all means, it's not a perfect Call of Duty, but let throw a hot take: the COD community doesn't even know what is a good Cod and are filled with nostalgia.

MW2022 was one of the last cod games that I genuinely enjoyed through campaign and multiplayer. I appreciate the little evolution of the gameplay be less solid from mw2019. Weapons are amazing and the style is not boo boo ahh black ops 6.

CAMPAIGN
The campaign is great enough for its characters, not just Ghost and Soap. The plot and moments are less grounded and impactful than MW2019, which is a 9/10 for me. To sacrifice the grounded look of the game, they gave us a campaign with more charisma. It means more funny bits, characters saying cool ahh quotes and not so great antagonists.
Missions in comparison with mw2019's, aren't as good at the beginning. I feel that there are a bit too many sniper missions and the last bit of the final mission is just disappointing.
I know that it feels like I'm saying "the camp is bad", not that bad, just saying that the characters are cool (Alejandro, Valeria, Phil Graves, Sheperd, GHOST & SOAP, Price and Gaz) but the missions design are not as good as mw2019.
Don't expect a deep beautiful story, just a sort of Hollywood movie that wants you to love an ideal experience of a soldier where you feel INVINCIBLE, tough and funny.


I don't want to make a whole sections for multiplayer because it's cod, there isn't much to say cuz it's the same thing every year. BUT I do recommend it if you are planning to build up an enjoyable arsenal. cuz the guns are cool and you can make pretty cool brutal finishers without seeing rainbows.
