My recommended route order
I'm a male reader. I've read some visual novels purchased on Steam and some that I pirated. Here is my recommended route (world) order for this VN.

Don't know if anyone will buy and read this VN in the near future, but to tell you even this is an Otome game aka VN for girls. the story is not all about lovey-dovey, it's pretty dark I would say. So I believed to follow my suggestion would be the best way to enjoy this VN. No spoilers but some hints for your own goods.

Club -> Spade -> Heart -> Diamond -> Joker (Joker world will be unlocked lastly). My explanation :

- Club world is the most peaceful to start first, mostly is about feelings between the main male and the heroine, not very much mystery in this story.
- Spade world is getting little mystery, dark and full of doubt.
- Heart world should be played before Diamond, since the main males of the these routes have close connection. The story is full of doubt, mystery and suprise in its way.
- Diamond world is the most disturb world (I have no idea why the writer did this), follow by Joker. This route has the lowest interaction between the Heroine and other characters. Some events you will not understand if you don't play the Spade world first and you will probably be spoiled all the good in Heart world... In short, just please play this as the last route before Joker.

I played that order exactly in my first playthrough. Thanks goodness that I really did.
Have better opinions, I would like to hear it then!

That's one valid way of playing the game, especially for story-telling purposes like you described!

I'm not sure if I'd personally be able to go through with that playthrough order though. Mostly because I'm the kind of person that prefers to play based on how much I'd like the love interest in question. Because while I also enjoy plot, it's a waste if I don't care about the character for that particular route. And it also doesn't help that previous playthroughs can affect my experience for a current route.

That being said, because Club is my 2nd favorite route, I feel like playing all the other routes would be a huge chore before reaching Best Route Joker. :ritonaworried:

I personally just played it in top to down order (Heart, Spade, Club, Diamond) since for me it went from:

- Heart: Meh, it's ok I guess.
- Spade: Ugh.
- Club: Nice!!!
- Diamond: UGH!!!!!!!

Of course, it'd be harder to particular nail down the Perfect Playthrough with that kind of mentality since opinions can differ. But I know that if I played Club before Heart, I'd probably be way more critical towards Heart world in comparison to my actual experience.

In general though, I think playing any order will be fine as long as Diamond world is the last route before Joker. ^q^ ;;

Thanks for commenting. In every VN, of course I, you and everyone have no idea how good or bad the plot of each route is until we read it ourselves (not include force route order). So we usually choose the girl (in which case the guy) we prefer to depend on our personal taste. I'm the person who love the "save the best for the last" experience, so I saved the Diamond guy for the last. And after that, I really doubt about my personal taste right now:lunar2019laughingpig:

I started out with Spade then went Heart, Diamond, Clover/Club and then finally Joker. Man I wish I did Diamond last because it was the most messed up route out of any of the 4 routes that you do to unlock the 5th route. I was really weirded out by the diamond route. But the 5th route really takes the cake. Also I highly recommend reading the VN first (all 5 routes) if you decided to watch the Anime. Also the Anime is ok for what it is because they took over 20 hours of content and watered it down to just over 5 hours spread over 12 episodes.

As for me, I personally prefer the order given to you by the game (Heart-->Spade-->Clover-->Diamond) mainly because the overall plot unravels more naturally that way. The Heart World is structured perfectly as a beginner world (no Suspicion parameter, all characters get screen time), while the other routes get more complicated with the whole parameters thing. Plus, if you noticed, the Secret Character (won't spoil who) gets more ominous if you play in that order, therefore building up the mystery.

I agree. I just finished everything up and I think for pacing, if you were to look at all of it as one story instead of 5 separate ones, I think there was a reason it was presented to us in this way.

I started out with diamond first (girl's best friend, let's go with that!) What a bad idea! I spent every other route suspicious and hateful of that guy.

Oh man I feel for ya. Diamond is the most messed up route out of any of the 4 main that you do in order to unlock the 5th. Also You start to hate the guy in the end of the Heart route and then it spreads when you do the Diamond route.

Since the worlds (routes) of this game clearly took the reference of the four suits of a pack of cards so sometimes someone who often plays that card game like me just simply make that habitual mistake. :lunar2019grinningpig:

By the way, does anyone here understands the reference of each worlds 's name for each guys. Like:
+ Why Shin is Heart but not Diamond.
+ Why Kent is Clover / Club but not Spade
Or is it just simply like that which no purpose? :lunar2019deadpanpig:
