Evoland 2
Instead of Evoland you can just play Evoland Classic :^)
But you also miss the point of the game. It is to show an evolution of RPGs, hence why you start out in a monochrome world and progress into other areas of improvement through several RPG types.
It relies a fair amount on nostalgia so you have to understand the references and visual diffrences to get the full effect from the game.
First one was good and fun. Just started on the second so can't say too much as I only just got the sword...the joke about the well (a reference to the first game) had me smiling.
I understand your point, but you did miss the bigger picture in it.
I had fun all the way through. Sorry you did not. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on such matter though.
So far not having any such issues with Evoland 2 either. Everything is working together just fine, as long as you look at the overall picture and reasons for it being the way it is.
That it is a nostalgic game with as such appeal and not supposed to mesh in the way that a full game, centered around a single sub-gene does. It is something unique and needs a diffrent point of view as well as a step back to admire the overall and compleat picture. Not something that is to be broken down into tiny parts, with each dissected and comparing each individual sub-genre.
Because it is true. One can not argue opinion. Your evidence is based solely on your opinion as there is no mean by which it can be proven or disproven.
I am not being vague at all. I am stating my opinion on said game. I have explained how and why I liked it a few times already.
I am not trying to prove your opinion wrong as it is your opinion. I am simply giving mine and pointing out where I disagree with yours.
You are the one making it into an argument, one that is based only on opinion. Sorry you are angry that I don't agree with you on your opinion, but I do have my own opinion on the game.
However Evoland 2, in my opinion, is nothing but a bland dreadful sequel to what was an amazing game. While there are aspects of that same evolving rpg I feel that the whole time travel aspect is bland and overplayed. Having said this, I still enjoyed what I played of the game until we got to some boss fights. The boss fights in evoland 2 feel clunky and overtly hard and unfair when there have been no fights that have taught you the mechanics that help you defeat the boss. Not to even mention the crashing in the middle of the boss fight against plum when she takes your super bomb.
Closing statement: Evoland was objectively better in being an evolving rpg and evoland 2 just felt lazy with the story and tried to make the game "evolve" through time travel.
The Evoland 2 game is better and longer.
