We are currently conducting a CBT, which requires a minimum payment of 100 JPY/month. If you would like to experience DuNo ahead of others, we encourage you to participate.
※ The game is currently quite unstable, making a public release a bit risky, so we are keeping it closed for now. Once the Open Beta Test (OBT) begins, you will be able to join for free.

If you're interested, please follow these steps to participate:

1. Prepare a Discord[discord.com] account.
   
2. Register as a supporter by referring to the Support Request[duno.jp] page.
   
3. As part of the registration process, you will join the official DuNo Discord server. You can access the latest version of the game via the "Announcements" channel.
   
4. If possible, we would appreciate your feedback! Please check the Discord server for details on how to provide it.

To those who have already joined the CBT, we apologize for the six-month gap since the last update. Moving forward, we plan to implement the following updates:

• From the next update, we will transition to CBT2. In CBT2, we will focus on integrating Steam accounts and adding community features. Updates will be released at least once every two to three months.
  
• During CBT2, the game distribution method will shift to Steam.
  
• We aim to reach the stage where we can launch the OBT this summer. Once the OBT begins, beta testing will be free.

For those who have been following the game for some time, you might have noticed that the store page and X account now feature an unfamiliar character. You may be wondering, "Where did Komia and Chrona go?"

Due to the prolonged development period and various factors—including the need to adjust for international expansion (e.g., concerns about skin exposure) and changes in DuNo’s design direction—the previous main characters have been retired. We sincerely apologize for this decision. However, we promise to bring them back into the game in the future.

Instead, the new main character is Nocturne Nightdew.

While Nocturne has a basic character concept, we won’t be delving too deeply into her development until the game’s progress stabilizes. (There’s a possibility of implementing a story mode, but for now, we have many other priorities...)

As for fan works, you have a lot of creative freedom without needing explicit permission! If you’d like to review the guidelines, please check here[duno.jp]. (The current guidelines cover the old characters, but they will also apply to Nocturne. We’ll update them soon.)


As the developer, I work full-time as a software engineer, so update frequencies may be inconsistent. Over the past six months, development has stalled, but I now have plans to set aside more dedicated time on weekends and other free periods to progress in a structured manner.
