Worth playing if already played Curious Expedition 2?

Hi, I really like Curious Expedition 2 so I was wondering if it is actually worth to go play the first game as well. Are there major differences and/or interesting unique stories that would make it fun to check out the first game?

I wholeheartedly agree with Eggiwex. For me it is the better game, charme and gameplay wise, though that depends a lot on what you are looking for. It feels more rogue-like, whereas CE2 is perhaps more RPG. Both are good games.

Thanks for the replies :) Because of your answers I gave it a shot, since it is on sale right now. I completely agree, it is definitely worth giving it a go. Will have to play longer to see how much replay value it has, but for the low price on sale I recommend it for players like me who already played the second part.

yes and it doesn't have any of the "girl boss" stuff going on the CE2 has that I find very jarring.

yeah-y of course. this ce1(curious expedition original version) has rivals(multipalyer mode) and lots of fascinating mods are available. Most of all those two games are totally different.
one with pixel based arts are quiet fun and simple. I bet weapon system is much more funnier than 2 cuz guns have more reasonable effects.
