How do you get the mentioned, "7th expedition"?

I beat the game on normal and easy modes. Do I have to beat it on hard to unlock the 7th expedition? Is it implemented yet?

Yes, no, the 7th expedition is not accessible from the game currently, a.k.a not implemented. Sorry about the confusion.

So was it a glitch back during the halloween update when I 'triggered" it? There was a unique epilogue but when I got into 'extra' mission it was just a messed up version of mission 6 (all completed).

There has been a sequel released to Curious Expedition, and now the team is working on another new game. It's only logical that the Curious Expedition 1 gets abandoned. They need to focus on what makes noticeable profits, they can't just keep updating a 10 year old game with outdated graphics, amateur translation, and which only gets purchased when it's discounted.
