Hi guys

Can you please post here on what error you seem to be encountering.

Can you please state the following information:

1. Have you played the demo? (you can find it here: http://d4-game.com/pc/index.html)
2. Have you updated all your drivers?
3. The specs of your PC.
4. If your game is crashing, please post a crash report ( http://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=10449 )


Remember, these are the minimum required specs to run on your computer:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit edition or Windows 8 64-bit edition
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83GHz or an equivalent AMD CPU
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 or AMD Radeon HD 6870 (VRAM 1GB)
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 10 GB available space
Sound Card: A DirectX 11 compatible card
Additional Notes: Keyboard and mouse necessary. Compatible with XInput controllers such as the Xbox 360 controller. Display: 1280x720.

I had some difficulty updating the Xbox One controller, but once I got it to do so it seemed to fix the problem. However, the game now crashes. I've verified the game with steam and tried adjusting my GPU's core clock from 900MHz to 822MHz (the standard specificiation for my GPU according to this webpage: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-560ti/specifications )

Graphics driver is GeForce Game Ready Driver version 372.54.
Looks like there is a possibility your graphics card is overheating. Can you check what Nvidia programs you are allowing to run while you play games (namely NVIDIA Streamer Service) and then disable it?

I tried disabling the Nvidia Streamer Service and I've had a lot more stability since then. (I found this article about it and how it does cause issues for some people, for the record: http://www.legitreviews.com/disabling-nvidia-streamer-service-gives-video-card-performance-boost_162524 ).

I'll keep an eye on the temperature when I'm playing in the meanwhile. Thanks for the help.

I get the same issue with the others pertaining the title screen appearing after trying to open the game, then it crashes eventually, same goes for the demo.

Tried the link you posted, seems I had to install nvidia control panel as it's not present.

I got the game working so far, will let you know if errors arise, for now I'll enjoy the game :)

I bought the D4 game over a week ago and every time I try to play it I keep getting this missing executable error. I looked up how to fix this error but nothing seems to work. Can anybody please help?

Thx a lot! I started the game WITHOUT game pad plugged in and it worked.

Dont know that the game have issues with starting when the game pad is plugged in.

2. Have you updated all your drivers?
3. The specs of your PC.
4. If your game is crashing, please post a crash report ( http://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=10449 )

1. I haven't played the demo. Both my game and the demo cannot make it past the settings screen or logo screen.
2. All my drivers are updated.
3. My computer specs:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics:Intel HD Graphics 3000
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 10 GB available space
4. I tried to follow the instructions on the link, but my computer for some reason hasn't logged any crash events

I'm afraid you are going to need a stronger graphics card than Intel HD Graphics 3000.... there is a lot of 3D shapes in the game that I'm pretty sure that card can't handle....
