Just if your curious.
On the other hand, rma it back without question.
did it used to work?
There's nothing special about the power adapter. It's just your standard DC power supply with a barrel connector. I bought this one as a secondary and it works just fine:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018JL0YIY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But they need to give you unfaulty hardware :P
hey, sorry to bother but did u have a blinking red light on the headset itself wit the faulty power supply? Im suspicious about mine ans connection drops freqently. Just the power supply connected and nothing else blinking light right on
Hi Scorthyn, if my memory serves me well, there was no light from the headset status light for my case. That's why i can quickly narrow down it to power supply which by changing a new 3rd party power adapter resolved the issue.
Maybe you can try googling red blinking status light and see if there are any solutions for your HMD issue. Sorry for not much help from me and good luck!
