HTC Vive
Affected v1.62 playable on the HTC Vive with HTC Revive v4.1
You got to try this game ... Super scary!
So I was messing around with HTC revive and was able to get Affected to work. It is an Oculus title only at the moment. This is how I did it.

Download Oculus software, install, then skip the part that asks you to set up your rift.

Download Luckys tale. It's a ... meh ... game.

Download Affected v1.62 here https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B324_pjFPrtDd3F0dEExQ1d4NVU&usp=sharing

Extract it to where you want it.

Download the Revive software here https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases/download/0.4.1/ReviveInjector.zip

Extract the files to the folder where you put Affected

Open the luckys tale directory, it should be in your Program Files, then Oculus, then Software.

In the Lucky's tale directory, look for the "LT_Data" folder and open it. Then open Plugins folder and there should be a few .dll files in it.

Copy the file, OVRPlugin.dll and paste it in the Affected v1.62's Plugin folder. Choose overwrite.

Then turn on Steam VR, and then go to the affected folder and drag Affected v1.62.exe on top of Reviveinjector.exe and it should launch in your Vive headset.

Lot's of steps, but WELLL worth it!

Let me know how it works out for you!

Yep. Me three. I can't stand most of the Oculus games, I do admit they are pretty polished though...
One of the main reasons I like Vive games so much is they are so fresh & new like no other games before. A very different experience.

Hate to open an old thread but when I click on the download link for affected it says I need permission to access the google drive. I have requested permission but haven't gotten any answer. Anyone else have a download link?
Sorry, it doesn't look like it is available for download anymore. They are working on a new version. I will keep this thread alive and post when it is available.
Thank's I'll keep an eye out. :steamhappy:
Anyone have a recent update on this title and the Vive?

new link?
Tried it, didn't work.
Had to turn on Virtual Desktop, and make screen closer/larger than usual to try and get it to block out everything else.
Sucks using mouse and keyboard for a VR game.
Same boat. Got it to boot up in SteamVR, but it's only allowing left/right, not up/down view and it's using my mouse instead of head tracking. Same thing using VorpX in SteamVR as well.
I'm stupid, this works perfectly fine if you follow the directions. I tried using the OVRPlugin.dll that came with Oculus and the original, no go; however, if you actually use the one from Lucky's Tale, it works. Could use one Vive controller, mouse, or xbox remote and you don't have up/down controls cause that only works with the headset. Awesome game, you get all three locations, just wish it was the full game. All 3 took about an hour or less.
The link to revive no longer works. I found a google link to get there but no idea what I'm supposed to download. It's just a mess of files.
