HTC Vive

HTC Vive

Virtual office
I didn't buy HTC Vive for games, I bought it for productive stuff ! Games are cool, got a long way to go, HereMake this please...

I would like, HTC camera to pick up what it sees in front of it, mostly your VR room <-- I made that name

Virtualize what the camera sees

I want to virtualize the room, to someone without the VR headset on, it is a bare room.

In VR it is my virtual office, with virtual file cabinets that hold real data I can take out (modify, read, destroy, etc)

I want the walls virtualized with todo list , reminders

Come on , this will make money, plus I would like it :)

Someone go out and make something like this please

This is actually an idea I've had aswell. Atleast the part with the file cabinets. My Vive haven't arrived yet but I've purchased it so I can't go full dev-mode atm but I'm firing up Unity as we speak and I'm gonna try to prototype something with file cabinets!

@Feffelicious Yeah, let me know how it goes. I believe it will need some type of "Mixed reality"

I hope Vive an incorporate this type of software with the 800 device I just purchased
