Is there a way to watch Netflix on HTC Vive??

But did you try to open Big Screen Beta and just going to the site? is there a problem with that?

Yeah you can just click desktop from the main pop up menu and have a browser window with netflix ready to go. You an adjust the size of the menu by taking a few steps forward pressing the menu button then going back to your seat to get the size you want.

Nope, when I use Virtual Desktop I only get damn black screen. There is voice though so that's nice...

I use Bigscreen Beta and in order to actually view Netflix, you need to use Chrome and you have to sign in to the website and it works, but if you care to share the sound it gets a little wierd.

I had the same problem with NowTV. It sort of amused me since Sky are supposed to be investing a lot in VR. Their PC App is rubbish but it can be used to view their programs on a PC but not in VR, The NowTV browser version hasn't worked for a long time for viewing on the PC. It demonstrates how clueless a lot of these media companies are. I should say though I sold my Oculus CV1 since it was making me sick. The resolution even when using higher pixel densities when available in games is still quite poor. Hopefully it will get better since it is a unique experience. I used Bigscreen mentioned above to view some of my FPV (first person view) RC plane movies and it was better than viewing them on my PC HD monitor. Due to the low res though I'm not sure I'd want to watch a film although people do.

MorningGhost, it sounds like a hardware issue to me, I honestly can say I have no problem watching Netflix, DVD's, BluRay's, or the occasional video game through Bigscreen. I am not familiar enough with the Oculus to truly give you a direct comparisson to my HTC Vive, but I can tell you with my Vive, I have no problems.

Also, I am not familiar with your computer build, but I am running an I-7 4.0 Ghz. 16GB Ram, 2TB HD 7200 RPM, LG BluRay Drive, an Nvidia GTX 1070 with GB of RAM with the latest driver from Nvidia all on a MSI motherboard and thus far any snags (which I will admit were few thus far) were usually related to the drivers for eith my video card or my Vive, which were simply rectified through updates,

Sorry for the late response. Probably the problem with black screen is caused by a browser, I had it too. Just download Firefox. Netflix is gonna have black screen on opera, IE, Microsoft Edge etc.
