help! I can't play Cobalt!

when I boot up Cobalt, all that happens is that I see the program icon on the task bar and when I hover my mouse over it you see that small little screen displaying everything correctly. But when I click on it nothing happens! The game just runs somewhere in the background where I can't get to it... please help me, I've never played the game but I did pay for it....

Just in case, which OS do you have/PC specs?
Have you tried switching to it via task manager? Do you have other programs open when you launch it?
If none of that works try reinstalling...

This happens only when I have a a media player program open, like if I was watching a tv show and tried to play cobalt. Closing cobalt, and any program playing video files and then starting the game again works for me. Also if you have multiple monitors try turning off all other displays.
