Who IS Zoya?

I remember asking this question some time ago and I remember the answer I recieved.

Her personality and motives seem.....hard to read. She doesn't seem evil, but at the same time, she is very mischievous and sarcastic.

What I find strangest about her is how she knew of the Trine AND how she has her magical abilities. She's not a mage (as far as I know), yet she has insider information about the Trine's whereabouts at the Astral Academy....information that's only privy to students and scholars at the Astral Academy. She has also mastered what Amadeus has not. (If you remember the in-joke of Trine 1, you know what I'm referring to)

On the night that she was to take the Trine, she placed her hand on it and got stuck. Her reaction was that she was not expecting that to happen. Which makes me wonder how much she actually knew about the Trine. She might've intended to sell it (as most thieves do). But how would she know the exact worth of an object she doesn't know too much about?

I know that she's a friend....but for some reason, I get the strangest impression that she either has a dark side to her or that she's really not the person she seems. One behavior that REALLY strikes her as odd is how she sells artifacts the group finds beforehand. She has a statue made of her so people know she's a hero, so why would she continue to steal and sell? This makes me think she may have a dark past (perhaps even a debt or blackmail against her)



I suppose one theory I have as to who Zoya is could be that she could be the daughter of Sarek (The Old King) who wanted a life of freedom (Or perhaps was disowned for an unknown reason) or a former student of the Astral Academy (perhaps even an apprentice of Amadeus....but this theory is easier to debunk as Amadeus doesn't recognize her). In these case, she could know a bit about vague details about the Trine and have more access to the magical abilities she possesses.



But that's just me rambling on what's been revealed. What do you guys think? WHO do you think Zoya really is?

I don't know who the heck she is but she is my favorite character. Explosive arrows, comedy relief, epic parkour, what more could you want from any character?

I have no idea who she is either but shes my favorite character too, I love her rope, her long range arrows, and everything about her ability to attack and fight...
