Well thanks for a fun 600 floors
I was playing this game with my sister and we were having fun, but after floor 600 I ran in to far too many problems and couldn't be bothered trying to finish this game if the devs won't even finish it. I played floors 600-610 at least 10 times and every time it would crash. I tried every fix I could find on these forums but still I was left infuriated as I reset and tried again. One time I didn't even make it past 605 before a broken corridor never ended until I eventually got stuck in a wall and waited on whatever that weird red face specimen is to kill me. I'm so disappointed in the game now and have uninstalled. People have been having these problems for months and theres still no fix. Screw you and your broken game for wasting my time. My laptop can run battlefield 4 but not this? Pathetic.

Hello! If you were browsing our forums, you would see that we are releaseing a major update in mid July. Thanks for playing!

By the way, that 'broken corridor" is intentional. ;)

The endless corridor is intentional., as the dev said :p. I'm amused that you thought it was broken.

The endless corridor just got me...
Im talking literally 3 whole minutes of holding w and shift. If that's intentional then it's very annoying but tbh that isn't the main issue here. The issue with that corridor was the fact i got stuck in the wall. I love how everyone glossed over that.

It's not literally 3 minutes and it is the point to get stuck in the wall. You have an option of going left, right or straight, you can also turn back. It's an endless hallway where the walls close in on you and you get stuck in the wall and killed by the specimen - unless you turn back around. That's the entire point. Not bugged, intentional.

But what I'm trying to tell you is I WAS sitting there for 3 minutes. I left the room to go to the toilet and left my sister to keep running. And if you give no indication the room is endless and if you keep going down you'll eventually get stuck and die that's just bad game design. At no point will that ever be fun or interesting for the player. All it leads to is people getting mad like I did and raging at you devs and neither of us want that. I can't fault you if it's intentional but I just don't get the point of even adding it in to be honest. I apologise for my previous posts as I was clearly mad bruh, that's only my fault, but with something like that in the game there isn't any other response I could have had. Spending all that time to get stuck in a wall when it doesn't look like the walls are closing in is just annoying.

So, my only thoughts on this are, how did you know if there were any clear indications of the room shrinking or not if you were in the bathroom?

The walls move in closer and closer, if you can't see the hallway getting thinner and thinner, I have no idea what the issue is.

I've had other people play the game and run into the endless corridor and no one yelled about it, they even found it hilarious that they were tricked.

Also, if you didn't want to rage at us, then you wouldn't have to begin with. :)

You should also know that if you stand idle between 1 minute and 30 seconds and 3 minutes, the red specimen will come attack you for punishing you for not pausing.

I'm sorry you didn't have fun with the endless corridor but we have no intention on removing it or fixing it, since there's nothing to fix. I suggest being a little more respectful when communicating with developers. Yelling at us doesn't solve any problems, it actually makes us not want to listen or take you seriously.
Because I came back from the bathroom and she was still running -_- the walls didn't move in on my screen. And by the way, I was raging at the endless corridor as a side note. I love how you completely ignored the problem with the game lagging out with audio and repeatedly crashing. THAT is the big issue here, it made the game completely unplayable. Thats cool your fixing it now but I know I'm not the only person who had this problem and people have been having it for months now. And if you're going to start handing out advice on consumer-developer interaction, perhaps in future try not being so patronising as that only further angers whoever is yelling at you. Trying to tell me I didn't face a problem with your game is just stupid, you weren't there to see my screen. Are you trying to tell me it's entirely impossible one room might have bugged out slightly AND been the endless corridor room? I already experienced the red specimen before when I was idle in the save point room just eating some food and it scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. That was funny yes, and I thought it was a good idea. The walls on my screen never closed in, I was running down the middle of the corridor and when I moved to the side after running for so long I touched the wall and couldn't move anymore. The walls were not close to me, I moved to THEM and got stuck. It sounds like they were supposed to close in, didn't, and when I touched the bugged walls I too got bugged.

Hmm, that's interesting.

Well, as I'm sure you are aware, game development isn't easy. We are working to fully optimize the game, visually and audio. Update will drop later this month, hopefully fixing these issues.

Like I tell everyone on these forums and on social media, this game is tagged for early access and we acknowledge the fact that there are bugs and we constantly remind people that there will be a fix.

My suggestion to you is that if you are unahppy with the product, wait until we update again and try again. If you wish to never play the game again, that's fine too.

My other suggestion is to go into the settings and drop your frame rate to 30 if you are having frame rate issues.

There is a "Read Me" document in the game files highlighting some important information on how to reduce lag and offer some possible audio fixes.

I'm not going to lie, I was completely unaware this was early access. I might have never seen the tag or I could have seen it and forgotten idk. If I knew that I would have never complained in the first place. If no one else is reporting the problem with the walls not closing in I don't really know what to say. It could be a super rare issue you may never face again or it could quickly become a massive issue that becomes more prevalant after a future update. Just something to watch out for. If I want to play again I'm going to have to re-do all 600 floors aren't I? I'll wait until the update to re-install because I did actually REALLY like the game. There's something about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself over a tiny pumpkin or spooky scary spider that never gets old. I just assumed you released the game as finished with this massive issue in it and that got my blood boiling.
Also I would like to point out, without deliberately spoiling anything, that your "gift" from spooky was totally uncool. My heart dropped when I opened the box.

Yeah, this game is tagged as Early Access, it's all over the store page as well.

In regards to going the whole 600 rooms again, you were given 2 passwords throughout your adventure, those passwords will help you skip to 250 or 500, which ever you choose.
Oh yeah, I remember the one for 250 but not 500. They don't change between playthroughs right? Because I'll just google the one for 500 if they don't.
HStarGan Jul 7, 2015 @ 9:53am
there's also one for 750.

My natural reaction when walking down a corridor that never seems to end is to turn around and go back again. Seen the same thing done is so many horror games and movies now it's like an instinct. In fact the only game that threw me off with such a thing in that respect is Silent Hill 2, where it makes you think you're running down an endless flight of stairs when it actualy does have an end, it's just a reeeeeaaaaaally long flight of stairs.
It's kind of the point of psychological horror games though, it's meant to mess with your head and make you question everything, and then when you're so focussed on trying to solve what could be an extremely simple puzzle, something will show up or jump out at you to seriously freak you out. So yeah, if something looks out of place don't just keep going, stop and check your surroundings, the answer could be right infront of you (or behind you as the case may be)
