A black background glitch makes the game unplayable. Help?

First off, I'd like to say that I really enjoy this game and I wanted to come back to it after not playing it for a while. However, whenever I am put in an area, the background is completely black and things only appear when I walk up to them. I really hate that this is happening because it makes the game absolutely unplayable and it's a shame because it's such a nice game. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I sure would appreciate if someone told me.

We're going to need your help in form of the game's output log.

1. After the problem occurs, go to your Steam folder\steamapps\common\Party Hard\PartyHardGame_Data
2. Find the output_log.txt file.
3. Upload it using a file hosting service. For instance: https://www.dropbox.com/h .
4. Share the link here.

steam keeps removing my links to my upload so I ask that you please give me some time to fix this

I apologise but the only way for me to put this link here was to make it so steam didn't recognise it as a link, so if you remove all the spaces from this it will be the link that I uploaded the output log at

I changed the settings like in the screenshot and I still had the same problem. I went ahead and took some screenshots of the problem if that happens to offer any more insight. If there's anything else I can do just let me know.

I am having the exact same issue. I tried using the file you linked but it did not help (unless I installed it wrong). Any idea what is causing this and will it be fixed?

You don't have to install anything. You just have to launch the file named PartyHardOptionsWin and then change the resolution manually in the pop-up window.

On my end I had the exact same issue BUT to change this you have to go to your ingame settings and go to "Video and Audio" and then you change your resolution FROM 1980x1080 to 1280x720. That for me gets my blackscreen out of my way.
