Basically I spent a large portion of time using the secret hatch that travels from outside the club to the kitchen, going back and forth and staying in those two places. There was a gas can in the kitchen so I started off with a fire. Overall, I got about 5 bouncers and 5 of the partygoers with that alone (there are like 3 waiters so they always head toward the kitchen).
Then I noticed that a lot of Bouncers would travel to the kitchen and stand with their backs to the trap door. I would simply slip behind them, stab, and leave. Keep in mind in my game NO ONE got alerted to the site of a dead body or called the cops (not sure if bug or intentional). Supplement this with the bubblegun machine and oven booby traps, as well as a bomb here and there.
By now the numbers had thinned out enough that I can travel a bit more freely (except near the SWAT team). I was able to sneak behind and stab any Bouncer who stood near the club entrance. Again, I basically was always near the bottom left corner trap door or upper left. One of the partygoing clowns bumbled into my little corner so that was another kill.
Soon all the Bouncers were dead, and there was just the SWAT, band, and 3 partygoers near the pool. The band is an easy kill, so that left 3 remaining. Called in the UFO who abducted the last three and victory.
This isn't the end-all, be-all strategy, and I'm certain I had a fair bit of luck, but it can be beaten. Hope this helps.
This level was a bit of fun, but I really do miss how it was originally.
Good luck :D
Calling the UFO does make them abduct up to 3 victims, but they may also grab you if they see you. Unfortunately, my last alien wouldn't abduct the last victim, so I ended up killing the alien, running into the room and stabbing the last victim before swat nabbed me - it counted the level complete!
Note to devs, if they're reading - IMO aliens should bee-line directly towards a victim as fast as possible and then get the hell out of there. Having them hang around and be dumb while their ship is blocking the map is really annoying.
Oh well. Just beat it with the second character with no phone and no traps.
The second character gets the ability to finger someone else for the crime if nobody sees you so use that a lot. If you are good you can place it again just after the first person is arrested and then move and keep chaining it while the officer is still in the map.
Otherwise just do it as above.
Another thing to note is the fact that bouncers and SWAT have a maximum range they will chase you. So if you get used to it you can let them chase you until they reach that point and when they walk back stab them in the back.
The "Casino" level that some of you are talking about only has a couple of bouncers. It definitely doesn't have anything near "30", nor even 20, nor 10, nor 5. So are you sure that's the level he meant?
Swat can randomly show up at many levels, but usually you play it again a time or two and don't have them there anymore.
The 3rd level is very easy compared to some after it. It just doesn't seem like that was the level he was complaining about, though I do see a few people are talking about it. If that's frustrating you then you're going to be *really* frustrated later in a few places. I'm not trying to be a smart alec, I'm just being honest and serious.
The randomness of some events and items placed can affect how difficult a level can be as well of course, but I beat this without any UFO and without any items I could place without too much difficulty and I'm not someone super great at hard games. That level still has tons of traps and set pieces you can kill people with, unlike some later ones.
Maybe it's that some of you weren't used to the game yet when you hit this so didn't really know the best way to escape from cops and deal with things. You usually don't pass most levels the first try (yes there are a few, but not most of them). But the Casino was one of the easier ones and doesn't have many bouncers at all so I am unsure if that's what the OP was really writing about?
Again I do understand that some of the replies did have a difficult time at the Casino even if that's not what the OP was writing about. It really isn't that difficult of a level in comparison though and this game may overall be too hard for someone who is having a really difficult time there.
Then again as I already said maybe you just got to get more used to how things work in the game and that's the whole issue for some people here since it's early on in the game. You just have to deal with getting caught a number of times while you get used to things maybe.
Miami Beach (*Edit - Sorry that's Miami Party I mean) is really the first more difficult level I think, though games being what they are and randomness of items and things you can use, you may always be someone who passes even that the first time too.
I do understand however that it can be annoying to have a level nearly finished and then something stupid happens and you have to start all over again, and someone coming on and saying that was "easy" is almost as annoying as having to restart. I'm not trying to do that so much as say that this isn't nearly as bad as it will get, and that I never have seen a level start with anywhere near that many bouncers either.
It seems that at the moment, everyone gets the very same composition of the Vegas level with about 15 bouncers and around half a dozen SWAT cops.
The guys are talking about the second encounter with the Vegas Level (on steroids) - there are indeed roundabout 15 bouncers and over 30 SWAT-men located (see http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=663773372 )
Maybe this level was not a part of the game from the beginning but of one of the updates. However, none of the "on steroid" levels is shown in the early let's plays on youtube, but in fact they exist nowadays.
What saved me were the zombies! I don't know if this was an easter egg or what, but they came out of somewhere and everybody started to become zombies. Then I just stabed zombies and nobody called the police, so it was pretty easy.
EDIT: forget this, I was thinking about the one on the desert.
