One of the greatest Blitzkrieg-engine games, top-notch post-apocalyptic b-movie plot and great gameplay, it's not that HARDCORE as B's, but it makes the game more accesible and fun actually. Can anyone comment if it is? I'm tired of buying games only to find that I now have to spend an hour attempting to find some hidden solution on an old forum in the depths of the internet.

Obviously I'm not the first to complain. This game crashes on startup no matter what I do. Pretty interesting that Steam disabled the reviews too, almost like they knew this game wouldn't work and didn't want people to be warned... Why is Steam putting old games in their store if they can't be played on current technology?...

Old games can be really cool but there are literally *zero* fixes available for the problems with Desert Law. My FPS jumps to over 9000 and it's basically going to melt my GPU. It only runs at 1280x720 and mucking around with the config doesn't seem to work. I can't even force this at the GPU driver level. Proper frame cap, v-sync and 16:9/16:10 support needs to be added or Steam need to remove this dinosaur from the market. Period....
