Time flew by fast! With your help, our FREE DUNK Closed Beta Test has officially wrapped.

This was the first time we handed this game over to you, and the first time we truly heard your voices and felt your passion on "court." Over the past period, we’ve been excited, moved, and have received countless honest and sincere suggestions and feedback. Every one of you who participated in this first test is a true "co-creator" in our basketball dream journey.

From PVE to PVP, We Aim for More Than Just Competition

You may have already sensed from the test that we’re not making just a "lightweight" basketball game.
This game will develop in both PVE and PVP directions—and we place special emphasis on the PVE mode.
We want to let you truly "train your players" through arcade modes, training centers, and other gameplay features, rather than just mindlessly clicking to upgrade stats.
In FREE DUNK, executing advanced moves isn’t about "button mashing." We’ve designed a variety of moves that require "mastering rhythm and technique," while also keeping some "easy-to-learn" skills so every player can find a playstyle that suits them.
We believe that in the real world, those awe-inspiring basketball moves aren’t achieved effortlessly—we aim to recreate that process of "earning" them.
That’s why we’ve set a "growth threshold" for players—not to discourage you, but to help you deeply understand: "Your player is shaped by your own hands."
We want you to gradually master your player’s skills through arcade mode challenges, unlocking the "training" path and discovering the playstyle that truly fits you. Through the talent system, you can customize your player’s offensive style and team role.
In the future, we’ll introduce even more abilities for you to "define" for your player.
When you finally step onto the PVP court, you’ll be playing with a player you’ve personally "sculpted." While we designed their foundation, their playstyle, personality, and tactical approach are the soul you give them.

Same bad game play as the Freestyle Franchise from Joycity.

This Game is copy-paste from the old "Freestyle" Franchise, but with Controller support in the matches, everything else is still just Keyboard and Mouse. Movement is clunky and very limited, there are no improvements in every aspect of the game-play, I was shocked when I played the first game, honestly. Shoot variations are limited and based on the Character you choose, some just can't do fade-away jumpers! same as in the old Games. From what I have seen in the Beta, the Game have nearly the same P2W mech...

Maintenance Notice: Server Downtime Update Details for April 20

It’s been a few days since the first beta test began. We know this version is still far from perfect, and there are many areas that need improvement.
Yet, during this time, you’ve chosen to stay with us, offer feedback, and even share words of encouragement—every single one of us has felt your support.
We’ve always believed that a truly player-centric basketball game isn’t born flawless but is refined step by step.

To address some of the most frequently reported issues, we will conduct a brief server maintenance at the following time:
Maintenance Date: April 20, 2025 (Sunday)
Start Time: 19:00 (PDT, UTC-7)
Estimated Duration: ~120 minutes
Maintenance Type: Server Downtime
(Game login will be unavailable during this period)

Update Details:

Though this maintenance is small in scale, we’ll do our best to resolve a batch of issues you’ve raised:
1. Fixed incorrect display of friend statuses.
2. Adjusted reward display errors in Arcade Mode.
3. Optimized text display issues, including:
- Text overlaps in the skin interface;
- Unnecessary Chinese text and overlapping info in the bottom-left corner during full-screen style selection;
- Stacked F-key prompt text after scoring in matches.
4. Corrected skill description errors:
- Discrepancy in Sarang's Intercept skill description;
- Inconsistency between Qiqi’s Chase-down Block skill description in matches and external displays.
5. Fixed abnormal resolution setting prompts, making system notifications clearer and more accurate during adjustments.
